Plot And Summary
Based on a true story from 1983, the film depicts a tribal couple, Rajakannu and Sengeni, husband and wife, who toil in the fields to control rats, catch venomous snakes, and earn some money. They look for things to find their solution. It is a matter of one day when the princes are call from a rich house to say that there are rats in our house and they should be caught.
He goes and hides in the room to catch the rats. On the second day, a case of theft comes up in the same house, and a rumor is spread that some gold has stolen from our house. So the police raid Rajkun’s house, brutally torture his wife illegally and arrest her along with Rajkun’s siblings. They torture them to forcefully steal from them. And then the Rajkoons are also kidnapp and imprisoned. Then the wife of the Rajakannu knows a man whose name is Chandru.
She is a lawyer, through whom she fights the case. There are many obstacles in the way, but she does not back down and keeps fighting. Casting
Suriya’s first role in this film is that of Chandru, who works as a lawyer and fights a case against Rajakannu.
